Ostrava Zoo and Botanical Park

Established in 1951 is a municipal zoological gardens and botanical park covering 100 ha in the middle of the third largest city in Czechia. Ostrava Zoo focuses on both ex-situ and in-situ conservation of endangered species and performing its own scientific research as well.
